With eleven manufacturing/distribution facilities around the world – 8 in the United States and 3 internationally – Crosstex services the global healthcare community in an efficient and timely manner. www.crosstex.com Job Overview Responsible for managing the Western US sales region including the sales strategy for Crosstex’s distributor branches, dental schools, dental service organizations, community health centers and federal accounts. Accountable for achieving sales quota, profitability and marketing objectives within a multi-state geography while operating within the Company policies/procedures and expense budget. Is responsible for hiring, managing and developing field sales personnel within their region. He/she plans, prioritizes, coordinates and reports on all sales-related and in-service activities within his/her assigned region. Will possess the skills necessary to execute, plan, prioritize, coordinate and report on all sales-related activities within their assigned region. Main Responsibilities Develops and implements business plans under the Direction of the SVP Sales. Achieves sales quotas by driving sales team to deliver above market share growth through product sales introductions in assigned territory. Implements sales strategies and tactics for region, promoting products to existing and new customers. Build relationships with key distributer sales management including Schein, Patterson and Benco as well as leading DSO’s and CHC’s within the western region. Establish territory targets as required. Meet or exceed, region sales targets to ensure achievement of the U.S. sales budget. Develop short and long-range region goals and objectives (in conjunction with management peers) that align with the strategic growth plans of Crosstex. Identify and communicate new business and/or product enhancement opportunities. Lead activities to capitalize on new sales and business development opportunities within the region. As often as needed, provide updates/information and direction to the regional team regarding new developments, competitive activity, new products or any other topic that may have an impact on the regional business. Monitor and report competitive activity within the region. Communicate with Crosstex’s internal management on region activities, regional concerns and competitive activity. Agree to and implement changes in objectives or sales-support programs resulting from current market conditions. Co-travel, Coach, train and ensure regional sales team performs to the highest professional standard Assure compliance with all Crosstex’s policies Qualifications BA or BS degree in business or related Healthcare field 7-10 Years of sales experience in a related field Proven success in achieving sales objectives in a variety of distribution structures and product segments. Understands various sales strategies in order to capitalize on opportunities and competitive threats. Able to travel extensively to provide customer support and Sales Consultant development. Consistent history of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers, and teamwork with internal support personnel. Strong analytical capability to understand deal profitability and problem solving. Strong presentation skills and confidence. High level of proficiency in relevant software programs (including Salesforce.com, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and automated sales forms/tools.
